If it gets farm use you should go high quality.
Exactly what do you base your opinion on?
Which brand do you have?
How many AirLift setups have you seen?

Firestone bags are tried and true. The newer airlifts are good, but the originals suck were the rubber was crimped on.

I have used both i dont have any on my truck at the moment. I am just saying if he uses it everyday on the farm he is going to want the best. Air lifts are good and firestone are better. Thats all there is to it. If you tow occasionally or are just the weekend warrior the airlifts are fine. But if you make a living with them get something good.

Its like arguing trw parts and moog parts. Trw parts are good but i would say they suck and get moog.

I have airlift and they have worked for me. The firestone kit is rated to 5000 pounds I believe whereas the air lift is 2000. Not that u should probably ever haul that much with a half ton truck, u could theoretically run the firestones at a lower psi for same load carrying ability as the air lifts at max psi. I just use a cheap air compressor to fill them when I need them.

I'm not trying to jump down your throat. It's just that I love mine and find them to be of very high quality so I hate to see them get bashed.

To the OP......I honestly would look into Timbrens if you use the truck all the time on the farm. No air to worry about.

Also, all 6 in diameter bags should be rated at 2500 each. 7 in, 2600 lbs and 8 in 2800 lbs. I believe the 2500 lb bags or the f9000 sleeve bags(rated at 1900 I think) will fit in the area.

Remember to keep atleast 5 PSI in them at all times when not loaded to. You don't want to run them empty or open.
