airaid mit 4.6
I want one of those mit intake tubes for my truck but i have an 08 with a 4.6.
It says it fits 04-07 trucks only. How is the 08 different? I know the 08 has more power than the 07 but why cant i run this?

the only difference might be the shape of the MAF sensor whole on the tube. i no my 05 4.6 has a diff MAF than and 06 4.6, i found out the hard way when i bought an k&n intake off my buddy he had on his 06 4.6, i thought it would bolt rite up but the sensors change constantly in these newer cars.

The maf on the 08 doesnt go in a hole. It is a small piece of intake tube. And it goes inside the airfilter holder.
And im talking about a 4.6
