Default Air bag code

I got my truck wet a while back, and now the air bag light blinks four times, and then two times at start up. Most of the time the seat belt light will start blinking and the warning chimes will sound after I have driven a little ways. This goes on for about five minutes, then the chimes and light goes off. The air bag light stays on all the time.
What do I need to replace to fix it? Thanks, Tom

check the fuse.

Someone recently had an odd warning tone and airbag lights.....

turned out to be the fuse.

Thanks for the reply. I went out and checked the fuses, and no luck. I wish it could have been something that simple. Thanks again. Tom

O.K. Good fuse..........

Does this also happen when someone is in the passenger seat? ( with the belt buckled )

You said "got wet...." as in left the windows open on a rainy night? Or did you go deep sea exploring?

My idea is that the sensor in the passenger seat bottom got wet..
