aftermarket sway bar end links
So I need to replace my sway bar end links and I was wondering which ones I should get. Any beefier aftermarket ones built for offroading? Quick disconnect styles? Any input appreciated

I snapped one on my '02. Replaced today with a MOOG, easy install and a liile beefier than original part. Not aware of any particular for off roading.

Thats hilarious because the same exact thing happened to me too. I got Mevotechs too and my drivers side one looks just like yours. I heard its better to just buy stock replacements as the MOOG ones are not so great either. Im not sure what im going to get yet though.

I am going to assume the end links on the 04-08 is similar if not the same as an '02. The stock part on my truck was a long bolt in a plastic stem sleeve with plastic caps over the bushings. The MOOG end links I installed came with a metal sleeve over the bolt and wide washers over the bushing to keep the metal sleeve and bolts from pulling through.
I had read somewhere that replacement end links should be torqued to 15-21 pounds, but people had trouble getting to that torgue without crushing the bushings. I tightened mine to where the bushings were being squeezed then cranked the ratchet 2 or 3 more times. I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't work loose or show signs of crushing.

Guess I didn't see a recommendation here on sway bar end links. Should a person stick with the Motorcraft replacement part, or are there better after market versions? Moog? AC Delco?
Thanks..
Thanks..

go with MOOG. good quality.
when installing the links DO NOT jack the truck up. the links need to be tighten under weight, otheriwse you end up tightening them too much and end up pinching and wearing the bushings out in a month.
install the links with the truck sitting on the ground and torque the nut to 16ft/lbs.
