Default Aftermarket Key Fobs

Has anyone purchased a set of key fobs from either ebay or another site recently? (And got them working?)

I did the ignition trick to make sure that it could be programmed, now I just need to get a set and don't want to pay what the dealership is going to charge.

My dad bought one for his '06 SCREW off of ebay to replace a cracked one we had. No problems getting it working and hasn't failed yet.

http://www.keyless-remotes.com/

I have purchased a few from here. I also purchased an uncut key. I had to have the key cut and programmed by the dealer since I only had one key and the manual states to do it yourself you need two programmed keys. Remote and key were $19. Once you have the remote then you have to....... wait for it......

READ THE MANUAL

What range do you get with your key fobs? Mine only works standing next to the truck. Would be nice if it worked a little farther away.
