Default Aftermarket Headlights/Grille - Ebay HELP!

Hey guys,

I've looked around on here for some advice, and the general consensus is to stay away from ebay headlights.

That being said, I have heard decent things about the replacement grilles. My Ford emblem is atrocious and the paint is chipping off of the trim around the grille. So I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I have found a grille WITH headlights. It has a 10000K HID kit that comes with the ballast. My truck is black, so I REALLY want headlights with the black behind them.

This is what I want to buy. Does anyone have any comments? If you have negative feedback on these, what's your solution? I'm open to anything.

I'm getting ready to put some money to my pretty lady, and am in the hunt for a sub box that will fit under the back seat of an 06 SCREW and found one of those bad boys for about $90. So if you guys have any recommendations there, do share as well.

Thanks for your time guys. I love this forum.

At 10000k those lights are going to be blue bordering on purple. White is 5000k. That number has nothing to do with brightness, only color.

Also HID bulbs in a halogen housing is a disaster.

You can buy all that **** separately for about the same price if you look around. If you really want to put HID bulbs in those stock housing you can get kits off Amazon that are 5000k for like $50. Those "euro" headlights are like $150/pair.

I've not seen that particular grill anywhere before so I honestly have no input on it since that kind of thing is going to come down to personal taste. That being said it's probably not going to look very good after a few months as it looks like it's made out of cheap plastic.

Just my $0.02.

I dont want the bulbs. I want the new headlights. I want something smoked, but smoked vs non smoked doesnt make a difference for this thread. I dont want the stock housing. I want completely new housing and a completely new grille.

Just cant find anything thats not reasonably priced outside of Amazon/Ebay. I know you get what you pay for. But I'm ballin on a budget here.

I know someone on this forum has rocked the ebay grille. How's it hold up? And the headlights. They dont have to be HID. Just looking for something that is smoked and looks nice. Bueller?

I bought an eBay grille and eBay halo headlights, grille holds up perfect nothin wrong with it other than it doesn't fit completely flush but what can you expect from aftermarket. The halo headlights were only like 115 and they look really good IMO, they have projector low beams and reflector highs. I hated the light output from them so i moved to An HID kit, I got 35w 8k, next time I'm prob going a little lower with something around 6k. But other than that I love them and nothing has gone wrong yet! Hope this helps

Hell yeah man. Thats what I wanna hear! The grille looks good. How long have you had it?

I've been looking around and I think I'm going to get the Spyder Auto CCFL halo kit. There is one sold with the HID conversion and it seems alright.

I've had the grille for a few months now and it's held up great, one of my favorite mods I've put on. Those headlights look sick tho! It's nice to have Hids integrated in the lights, that'll save a bunch of time when installing. I say you go for it man

Just an update. I got the grille. I didnt realize it at first, but I got the same one that's in the pictures above. It matches my black truck perfectly. Looks very nice for now. We'll see what time says!
