Default Aftermarket fog lamps

Hello all. I haven't come across anything that could answer my question, but I truthfully haven't dug that far into the archives to look. Lazy, I know. My question, though, is this. I have an '08 FX2 Sport, and I have the normal round fog lamps. I am a real big fan of amber/yellow lenses, but cannot seem to come across anyone who manufactures an OEM style replacement with such a lens. Would anyone happen to know if they even exist? I've searched Google and eBay, but to no avail. Any input would be much appreciated!

Hi.

You can try Hoen's Endurance ( amber 42w ) H10/9140/45 replacements.

http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm

Or Nokya's:

Since you keep yer existing housings, it's yer least expensive path to an amber fog colour, ( other than one of the innumerable cheap chinglish fleabay LED variants, which offer varying degrees of effectiveness (low), reliability (low) and glare (high) )...

If you wait a bit, TRS looks like they will be offering fogs with an Amber option:

Discussed here: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...roducts-Thread!

Long read, but entertaining! lol

There are members here running 3000K (amber) PnP HID capsules in round fogs - the right colour, but the wrong pattern if yer after that unique light distribution beam pattern that defines a 'true' fog light. Good driving lights for unpopulated dark roads though.

good luck

I ran the Nokya Hyper Yellow with laminX yellow lens tint on my Focus, and it was very bright, and very yellow. Thinking of doing it on my F150, at night it really lights up the ditches. I live in a rural area, so many deer.

Here ya go, they do exist. I wouldn't trust the quality though:

Than you for your input, MGD. I already run a set of yellow bulbs in my fogs (I'll be damned if I can remember the brand, though) and I like their output, but I'm looking for a housing with a yellow lens. Now, Summers22...I've seen those before and had thought of maybe purchasing a set, but I agree with you about quality. They don't look very impressive. It's such a pain to find an OEM style housing with an amber lens. Maybe I'll have to pick up a new pair of OEM housings (since my stock ones are beat up from the road) and have them wrapped with Amber tint. You ever have any issues with your tinting, Summers22?
