Default Aftermarket Alarms

Anybody have any good recomendations on a good aftermaket alarm that wont break the bank. I want a security alarm with the remote auto start. I have been Looking at both the Viper VSS4000 from Bestbuy, and the Clifford CS5000 from Cartoys. The Viper is about $600 from Bestbuy installed, and the Clifford from Cartoys is about $700 after the install. I know both of these have the Smart start that allows you to use your cellphone, but I don't really need that. I just want one remote to start my alarm and to also start it. I would like one of those 2-way responder alarms that have the LCD remote. What do you guys recomend? I feel like I am getting charged a lot by both of these two companies, but I havent purchased an alarm in years too. Let me know, and thank you.

From both the trucks I have driven, I always go with Pthyon. I have had the both, the best alarm (2-way pager), and the most basic. Each alarm has been awesome so far.
