AEM brute force intake problems
i just got done installing a brute force intake on my 07 5.4. everything went in as advertised except the MAF sensor is unside down, which i dont think is a big deal, i just had to twist the connector. anyway, i went to start it and it started right up, until i gave it some gas. it died right away. so i disconnected the MAF and it started and ran fine, didnt even throw a code. so i shut it off and smoked a cigarette and hooked the MAF back up. it idled for about 10 mins and i went to give it gas again and it chugged and surged and then died. someone please help me! i am supposed to drive from jacksonville, fl to oklahoma city, ok tomorrow

You said that the MAF is upside down. On the MAF there is an arrow, make sure the arrow points towards your cab, which means it has to go with the air flow. Just dbl check it. Also did you unplug your battery to perform a reset?
