Default Advice on lift for 2wd supercrew

Alrighty yall......I want a six inch lift(what is the biggest lift size for 2wd?) I want more than a six inch lift so can I add a 3" body lift to that 6" lift? Ya by the way it's a 2wd and it's for looks so all y'all that bash 2wd for having lift I don't want to hear it. Thanks!!!

check out the stage 1 procomp lift. its a great lift if you are just going for the looks. and you should be able to do a 3 inch BL no problem, i think a few guys have done it.

You should be able to stack a leveling kit on the 6" and get closer to 8-9 out of it. There's a 2wd Lifted Truck photo thread on here somewhere that will give you some options.

Thanks for the quick replies. One question is how much are we talking for installation of the 6" inch lift? I want to try to keep my budget under five thousand.

No unfortunately I don't have the time or knowledge for that. At least not enough to install a lift.

You can get a procomp stage 1 for around $1600 now a days and a 3 inch body for $300. Depending on the shop you go too if you do it all at once labor could be about $800. So about $2700 just for both lifts and then depending if you want rims and tires maybe another $2000 which ends up just under $5000. Thats the way I would go since you just want to go for looks.

I have the Stage 1 on my truck and i have taken it off road alot. its a solid kit.

Awesome!! That's what I was looking for. Just one thing. Everywhere I have tried to look I can only find the procomp lift stage one and two for 4wd. I can't ever find them for 2wd. Do they only make it for 4wd or am I not looking hard enough?

you can probably find some better price somewhere, just google the manufactures part number and it will bring up every where that sells it.
