Adding Lariat stuff to an 04 XL - Lariat Cruise question
I just bought an 04 XL with the 4.6 and 4WD. It's really nice but no power options. So like many XL owners before me I checked out how to add some stuff.
I found a wrecked Lariat at a salvage yard with a perfect 6 disc CD changer and the cruise controls. I picked them up along with some interior shinies for 100 bucks.
The 6 disc looks to be the non-audiophile unit and should be a perfect swap. My question lies with the cruise controls. On the Lariat the cruise controls occupy one button bank on the wheel, with the other side having radio and AC controls. The regular cruise control occupies both banks on the wheel. They both have the same plugs though.
So will I be able to get this stuff to work (AC & radio controls included) when I install this along with the 6 disc player, since it's different from the normal cruise controls that every else has been using?
