Default Adding horsepower

This old man in deep south has a 2006 STX, 4.6, completely stock.
I would like to up the horsepower 40-50 hp without breaking the bank. I know some of you have already done it. Appreciate any help on this.

I got a helix spacer, custom cat back magna flo, roush cai, and a edge programmer. All in i am about $1400, and it is a huge difference over the stock set up. I installed all but the exhaust so you can save some labour charges with a set of hand wrenches and a couple of beer.
I done it over time so as to not break the bank

yeah TYM1 is on the right page. a programmer, exhaust and CAI will get ya there. I went with a BULLYDOG programmer, Flowmaster 44's and Spectre CAI, huge difference. adding e3 spark plugs and new coil packs soon for even more power
