The white wire on pin 9 drives the relay for the stock wiring. You can cut and use that to drive an after market relay and wiring to the fog lights.... Looks and functions stock from the inside, then just get some connectors for the other end of wiring to plug into stock fog lights.

Also if you plug the new switch in listen for a relay in your fuse box... If you hear it locate the tan/orange (pin 12) wire in connector c270a (top of fuse box) and run this for the 12v to your fogs. Then ground the other side to the frame.

I have done this to my 08 XL. I did not use any kind of wiring though. I have mine on a switch.

You could put them on relay, And have the parking light or the low beam lights be the excite wire for the relay.

All you need is a bumper for one with fog lights. If you want to go the factory route you would need fog lights and the pig tails.

I just used 5 3/4 inch lights.

They look a little weird in them holes up close(most people ask me why it looks weird), but i do not really use them for looks. I used them while working in the field. (Function over looks )

Okay used a switch and sure enough the relay clicked on when I activated fog lamps. Went to
check the wires from fuse box and got confused lol.

Attaches is what I see not sure which plug is the one ur talking about. Thank you.

Which one is the C270a? I find it odd that Ford would add all this up to the fuse panel but then not wire it into the engine bay for them.. So if I find the Tan/Orange wire, I can run that out for positive, then find a ground and connect those two to the plug for the fog lights? I am not too savvy with wiring, sorry. I am getting a new bumper next week so trying to get this figured out.
