Add-a-leaf, or blocks
Hey guys,
I'm getting a leveling kit put on the truck right away, and i wanted to do a 1"-2" lift in the rear also. just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with add-a-leaf, and spacer blocks, which you guys perfer, advantages/disadvantages?
Also just throwing out the question, lately it seems like some of the manufactueres for leveling kits are saying the 3" is ok, and not having any problems with them, for example, ready lift.... any opinons on this?

I have 2" add a leafs.
The reason I went with AAL over blocks is because someday I might have something heavy to pull or put in the bed. I usually don't pull much more than 2000 lbs but, if I ever needed to I wanted the capability to pull something and not have my nose WAY up in the air. The rear is stiffer, but IMO it feels A LOT better than stock....

im quite happy with my AAL. I got the fat bobs garage short aal so i didnt have to pull off the leaf clamp when installing. Lifted the rear 2", did a 2.5 front level too. Overall its not a whole lot stiffer, but im happy with my decision.
