Go with the blocks, I installed a 2 1/2 in block from summit. I was able to use the stock u bolts now my truck sits level near perfect. I will agree with ATOM,,, put all the springs you want you still have a factory payload. Look at your rear springs very tough....

See now, with a ford, this situation is unique. With a gmc or chevy, the same frame is used. Therefore, the only thing different is the springs. Dodge too. Only difference in the dodge frame is the 3/4 and 1 ton frames have different mounts to accomodate the solid front axle. Where the chevy uses the crap ifs setup on all trucks.

gmc and chevy do not use the same frames. 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton frames are different. not to mention a 1/2 ton rear end can't handle that kind of weight, bye bye bearings.

BTW,I was pointing that out because I think it's false advertisement. YOu could technically put 40 add a leafs under your truck. By their math,500lbs. extra payload, thats 20000 lbs extra. Now,will a 1/2 ton truck move with 21,000lbs in it? Hell no.

if there frames were identical the same lifts kit would work on all of them. the frames on the HD trucks are way more beefy than a Z71's
