Sorry about the truck. My experience with most insurance companies is that they will not cover after market parts or accessories unless you pay and specify that it is covered under your policy.

I talked to the insurance company and asked specifically about the aftermarket parts and they said that they should be replaced. Also on the OEM parts they told me that I can ask for all OEM parts in replacement. That is definitely my plan. I'm getting ready to head out and look at a copy of shops, I'll keep you guys updated on the progress. Thanks for the tips.

Im glad to hear that your insurence company is working with you so well. (trust me, I know how much of a PITA they can be.)

I hope things get done fast so you can get your truck back on the road.

Glad to hear that you are ok. Sorry about your truck. I have been looking at your truck for ideas for a little while now. I am trying to get my truck to grow up and be like yours some day.
Make sure to keep on top of the insurance company and get what they tell you in writing if possible. My experience has told me that they will always give you a hard time.

Alright I picked out a repair shop. First couple that I went to didn't have a paint booth large enough to fit my truck. Truck will be towed to the repair shop later this afternoon, shop is footing the tow bill ($292).

Insurance company will be sending an adjuster either today or tomorrow to the shop and the shop will give me a call once the adjuster goes over the truck. Gonna see if I can get the repair shop to order me a new bumper with fog lights. They use nothing but OEM parts so a big reason why I went with them. They are also gonna fix the lift and get everything back to the way it was pre 3:45 yesterday afternoon. State Farm has been GREAT so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Glad to see your getting OEM parts. You never want to mix OEM and aftermarket suspension parts in the front end.

That sucks dude! With the cost of repairs these days, thats probably $6k in damage. My aunt backed into my truck a year ago and it was $1000 to fix a cracked fender molding, bent stainless splash gard and a very small dent between the door and fender. I am glad you are ok and at least you took another chevy off the road. Here is a site that has new oem parts if the insurance company or body shop give you any trouble on finding parts. www.newtakeoff.com
You may also want to talk to your own insurance guy and ask them what the damage disclosure law is. Here in IA, we used to have to claim it if it was $5k or more and they changed the discloure to being more than 1/2 the value of the vehicle. Did your airbag deploy? Thats almost 2k alone.
