I used the Ac gague and it looks good. I paid for a vacuum/refill/leak fix when they put the drier in but who knows if they actually did it. Does the fact that it's not leaking help you guys in the diagnosis?

How do you know it's not leaking? Different temps cause different readings. If they were suppose to fix a leak, take it back.

It was engaging at 55 at about 95 degrees outside. I assumed that since that was in within normal range that a leak would not be the culprit.

Sorry digital I didn't see your reply. It is functioning normally. About 50% uptime. I drained about 10 pound out today to see how much dye they put in and it dropped to 20% uptime then I added 10 pounds and it returned to normal. I also cleaned the coils again. I'm pretty much stumped here.

Lol maybe not 10 pounds. I let some out until it would engage at 45 psi then filled it back up to where it would engage at 55. I'm not an expert on AC systems lol.

There should be a label under the hood stating how much should be in there. I think my 13 hold 18 ounces or 1 pound and 6 ounces.

I think its 33 ounces, overcharging will cause it not to cool. Maybe someone will chime in.

At this point though, you have removed and added back. It needs to be evacuated down, then recharged with correct amount.
