Hello, i just had my engine rebuilt and computer had to be flashed on my 07 XLT. I drove my truck this morning during a bad snow storm and when the wheel span the Traction control light didn't come on and when I hit the brakes the ABS light doesn't come on either. ABS light in cluster is working. Now I remember my traction control light coming on before the repair but can't remember if the ABS light is supposed to turn on when wheels lock and slip. Thanks!

From what I know The abs light will only come on if there is a problem detected in the system. The traction control will come on when it is being applied.

Mudking is correct. The ABS light is lit if there is an issue.

Since when do 04-08 have traction control? Mine doesn't..

Yeah, now I don't anymore, just finished swapping my cluster for an Fx4 one and it doesn't have that feature. Looks soooo much better and everything works, just have to get the miles "adjusted"

So the pic with the icon is from an xlt? Looks different than I remembered.
