Question ABS light on after new brakes

I just replaced front rotors and pads on my '05 F150. On first drive around the block, I heard what sounded like something grinding on left front side and pulsation in pedal. Took caliper and pads back off and found nothing wrong.

Drove it again and realized sound was coming from ABS motor coming on and off rapidly while braking. After hitting brakes a few times, motor quit oscillating but ABS light came on. Brakes feel normal now, but would like to get ABS light off.

Does anyone have any idea what may have changed with the pads/rotor
replacement to cause the light to stay on? ABS sensor wires seem OK.

Would appreciate any input of possible cause.

Who did the brake job? If you did, maybe you bent or damaged one of the ABS sensors located by each wheel. Did you use brake cleaner when you did the work? Most shops replace them when they do a brake job, as brake dust or cleaner can render them junk, and can set your ABS light.

Also, when you squeezed the piston back in to their bores, the brake fluid goes back to the brake canister. If it's above the "full" line, perhaps the pressure buildup is messing with the ABS pump.
