Default ABS Light on

While driving home from work, I noticed that my brake pedal was doing that vibrating thing a little when I was coming to a stop. Well I looked it up and figured it was the ABS. Well figured since the road was wet maybe I was sliding a little bit causing he ABS to kick in, I dunno. Well couple miles down the road the ABS light came on, and while coming to a stop the vibration in the pedal stopped.

Didn't wanna risk getting stuck on the side of the road so I made no stops and went straight home, 1 hour drive.

Got home and turned the truck off and back on to see if the light would go off but was still on. Went inside and ended up leaving about 15 mins later, light was off and vibration was back like before. seems like a loose connection or something goin and coming in and out of working. Read online that I had 3 sensors. I'm pretty sure I know where the ones in the front are, but can't find the rear. I'm hoping its just a bad sensor, would anyone give a little insight on what's going on, and maybe some other trouble shooting I could do to try and solve this. Thanks

Third sensor is located on top of your rear diff. It is connected with a two wire plug and one bolt. Super easy to change.

Mine did the same thing took it in to get scanned and read rear speed sensor. Switched it out but didnt fix. Hopefully it works for you.

Also check the wires leading up to the sensors. The wires leading to the sensor on top of my rear diff had fallen onto my exhaust and the exhaust had burned the wires. Just a suggestion before you go buying new sensors.

If the ABS light is on will autozone or an auto parts store be able to bring up a code or somehow pinpoint what's going on?

Well took it over to autozone and they were able to read the abs code, they guy told me that they usually say they don't ready them cause so many ppl come in there asking. Since I knew him he made an exception. Came out to be the rear sensor like i suspected. Another 80$ later I had the sensor and light was gone once I replaced it.
