Default About to start my e-fan install, sorting out part numbers

I've decided to use the 2010+ F-150 efans in my 2005 4x4. I'd like to see a little better fuel economy on the highway (by not turning the stock fan all the time) and would love the extra space to get to the oil filter. However, I'm running into two different part numbers.

Tasca doesn't list the part number, price ~$202 +shipping http://www.tascaparts.com/parts/2010...ent=Fan%20assy

Rock Auto lists the part as both RF-252 and RF-269, $191.79 +shipping http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,2181

I found RF-269 on Amazon for $189.12 and free shipping, but is this the right part?
Motorcraft RF-269 Motor and Fan Assembly : Amazon.com : Automotive Motorcraft RF-269 Motor and Fan Assembly : Amazon.com : Automotive

According to this eBay auction, it should fit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOTORCRAFT-R...-/300704787314

BTW, Rock Auto also has aftermarket equivalents for ~$129 at that link, but I would rather stick with OEM quality.

Anyone know if RF-252 = RF-269? I'll buy it from Amazon for the lower cost and free shipping if it does.

This site cross references it as the same part number...

Ordered the fan from Amazon today. We shall see...

Getting a MadFan controller and a Flex-a-lite upper radiator hose adapter for direct coolant temp measurement instead of a radiator insert.

This is the hose adapter I ordered:
Flex-A-Lite 32084 1-3/4" ID In-Line Radiator Hose Adapter : Amazon.com : Automotive Flex-A-Lite 32084 1-3/4" ID In-Line Radiator Hose Adapter : Amazon.com : Automotive

Does that fan from amazon include a full shroud with 2 fans?
How many blades are on the fans themselves?

How much was your fan controller? Got a link?

No pictures of the fan on Amazon, so that will have to wait till it gets here. It cross references to the part number for the entire fan and shroud assembly.

The controller will be ~$141 delivered. That includes the direct coolant sensor. I'll post updates as parts come in.

Do take some pics. My research showed that one of the mounting ears needed to be cut off on the efan.

Well, good news and bad news.

Good news is that the fans got here and they are indeed the correct fan / part number:

That should be the latest part number from Ford for the 2010+ F-150 (actually this fan is used in a lot of full size trucks).

5 straight blades on each fan:

The bad news is that it was damaged in shipping:

I've already requested a replacement from Amazon. Hopefully UPS doesn't mangle this one.
