Can an edge evo tuner for a 97-03 be upgraded to work with the 04-08s?

Everywhere that sells them lists them separately, so that's an indication that they aren't interchangeable. Also, the engines are somewhat different between the two generations, so the canned tunes would need to be different on each programmer.

Yea, I called PHP and they said they could do it and upgrade it to a Gryphon at the same time. It's on its way there now.

I bought it for a song, and even got the seller to check the model number. It turns out it was a new unit, sent to them by Edge that they never used. I even called up Edge and they said it couldn't be done, could only trade it in on a new tuner. So I called PHP and for the price of an updated OBDII cable I will have it working and updated to the Gryphon software.
