Question 700 hp 5.4 f150 build

couple months ago I was on the highway and my truck shut down coasted off to the emergency lane went to restart it nothing got it home inspected it and found out it was locked so got the motor out and took all apart and spun the two rod bearing and the rotating assembly is junk
now that it apart I figure I would go ahead and build it
what are some suggestions on parts need to reach 700 hp at crank getting all forged rotating assembly and running 8:1 compression ratio and turboing or pro charging it

Are you dead set on 700? Figure investing close to 10,000.

Nick McKinney can build it.

But you don't want to run low compression with a turbo or centrifugal supercharger.... Find 07-12 GT500 or 99-04 lightning crank, a set of Manley H beam rods ($700 new) a good set of Manley or Diamond pistons. Go for 9.5:1 compression. Oem head gaskets, head studs are a must $250. Run a MMR has some good oil pumps for Mod motors. With machine work, parts, and labor (if you don't build it yourself, your looking at $3500 in a good short block. As far as your heads go, just a stock valve job with bronze valve guides is all you need, thats another $600. www.svtperformance.com.... It's another forum that has a really good market section for go fast parts... That may save you some money as well.

These are a few pics of my 4.6l home built cobra engine.... I have about $4,500 total in the engine.... It's 10:1 compression, spools a 76mm precision turbo, and on 15psi on 93 pump gas makes 700 rwhp.... Thats about 825 crank

thanks for the input was afraid that 9 would be to high what psi of boost should I run and I am planning on ordering a forged crank Manley H beam rods with arp 2000 studs I am going to look into your recommendations of pistons

I hope you plan to get your transmission built to hold that power as well as rear end

With higher compression you won't need to run as much boost to make your power goal.... With low compression, the turbo will be lazy and not spool up real fast. And your truck will feel like it has to be in boost to accelerate. If you keep the compression close to stock, it will feel and drive just like a stock engine at part throttle, then the turbo will spool instanly when you floor. Where a low compression 5.4 will feel like a 4.6 or smaller at part throttle and the turbo will take a lot more load from the engine to start to spool and the rpm range from when it starts to make booost till it hits full boost will be longer.
