7 Lugs
Hi Everyone, I am new to the site, and you may have talked about this before. I have a 2004, 7700lb, F150. I love my truck. I just don't like my wheels. Centerline makes wheels to fit 7 lug Fords, starting at 260 per wheel.
I have considered switching back to 6 lug by changing the front spindles. From what I have been told is my rear would have to be changed to 8 lugs. It is the same axle as in the F250. 8 lugs would be fine with me, I have a set of factory 20's I can use. My question is, how to change the front to 8 lug?

my brother just went through the same thing pricing to convert and just buying rims. and he decided it was cheaper in the long run and a lot less hassle just buying the rims from centerline

there are options just not cheap ones. another way you can do it is replace the front wheel bearings and rotors with the 6 lug off of a standard 150 and then have your rear axles redrilled by a machine shop or custom axles made.

That is a option there is a machine shop here in town that does that work. I have been thinking of making a conversion kit. It could be done at an affordable price. Depending on how many people would want to convert to 8 lug. I have to go pick up a spindle from the junkyard on sat. and I will know more next week.

I just gave up on Friday and bought the eagle wheels. I found someone who would sell to me for under 500. I tried to redrill some navigator wheels It worked, but I could only put smaller street tires on it. I took a 200 mile trip today the ride was great no rubbing turns full lock to lock. nitto trail grapplers 35x12.50x17

Centerline Wilderness 17 x 8.5, 6 inch offset, 3300 pound load rating so they won't fail if the truck is fully loaded to the GVWR, BFG AT KO's, LT 275-65-17, exceeds load and speed rating of the stock tires for the HD package
a grand for the wheels, a grand for the tires. Speedo dead on accurate according to GPS, no rubbing.

Neggy, Did you add the fender flares or did your truck come that way?
It looks good, I just needed more ground clearance. I have less than 600 cash in the whole package, but the dealer is also a customer of mine, and needed alot of work on his doors. I think retail would be around 1700

They are Bushwacker flares.
BTW changed out the black Nerf bars for SS yesterday.
The Bully ones I put on 2 years ago rotted to crap in under 13K miles. I have a set of DeeZee's here but they stick out way too far from the side of the truck IMHO, and the extra few inches they stick out could really distort the body at the mounting points when you step on them.
We'll see how these 200 dollar cheapies hold up.
I changed the grille out last fall for a different look. 75 bucks from Empire Auto Parts

If I had those flares I could probably squeeze 37 in.
I am done with the lift. Any taller and I would need a ladder just to load the racks. The 4.10's work great with 35's
