6" lift question.. strut or spacer?
so would i get much benefit from getting the BDS struts in front as opposed to just going with the spacer and the stock strut? thanks for any info

The real question here is your going to take it offroad or will this be a street queen? They're are really no bad things to getting full length replacement struts other than the added cost. The spacer is literally just a huge leveling kit and you will keep your stock ride. It will not perform as well offroad though with the spacer because our stock front shocks aren't the greatest offroad.

Buster hit the nail on the head. Depends on what you are really going to use the lift for. I have the strut replacement on mine because I wanted it to be a better ride and take mine off rode from time to time. After checking out my old stock ones, I was able to compress them by hand so I was glad that I got them. I get comments on how smooth the ride is in my truck all the time for being lifted and people love it. Keep in mind I have Fox Shocks in the rear which really helps. Any questions you have for the BDS lift, feel free to ask!

It's a good difference in price as far as the strut replacement and spacer go, the decision is up to you.

It all depends on what shape your struts are in right now. Safe to say, mine were shot and like I said, I was able to compress them by hand....I'm not sure how long they were like that, but as of right now my ride is smoother even though it is lifted.
