When you play a CD in it the song plays kinda slow and doesn't sound as good as the radio does anyone know what the issue is?

It's telling you it needs to be replaced, go to Crutchfield or similar sites and check out the double-din units. I had the same stock unit and it started failing so I switched and the only problem I have is that I didn't do it sooner.
