6.2L?
Goodmorning guys, I have something kinda funny to consider, but I'm wondering if it can be done anyway. I have a 2004 Lariat Screw with the 5.4L. I love the truck and the engine, but I could hear the dreaded clickety clack of the VCT issue since I bought it almost two years ago. Should (knock on wood) anything happen to my Triton, could an engine swap to the ultra bad-a** 6.2L be done? I mean, I'm sure the 6-speed trans it comes with would be much longer than my 4 speed, and I'm not sure if the bell housings would be in any way matching, or motor mounts, or computer.....
Anyway, let's hear some of your thoughts!

Just FYI the 6.2 get pretty noisy too. Not 3v noisy, but still pretty annoying sounding especially at idle

Its a direct bolt in. You'll just have to have custom tuning to run the transmission and PCM. Motor mounts and transmission mounts are the same.
