Default 5.4l 3V Timing chain question

Hey guys hope I'm posting in the right place.

I have an 05 with the 5.4L 3V and was loosing oil pressure due to a bad chain tensioner.

Before any chain disassembly, the Crank shaft was set with the mark at 6 o'clock, the driver cam phaser L was at top, and the passengers cam phaser L was towards the bottom.

When I loosened the cam tensioner bolts, and relieved chain tension the driver side cam stayed put, but the passenger side cam spun about an inch !

Normal ?
could any valves have bent?

You can move it back when putting the new parts on. Use a pair of vice grips on a non-lobe position on the cam. Have you read the thread "Final Guide to ..." That is the best info on timing components and phaser replacement. I have done this job successfully and remember the timing mark at 1:00 not 6:00. When it actually comes down to it, as long as you put everything back on exact as it was, it should have no problem, but I did mine with the timing mark in the 1:00 position and the cam lobes facing the correct direction. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
