NO NOT THE SHOP!!! You can usually rent the tool from an auto parts store. The most frustrating part of the whole process was getting the little screws that hold the caps down back in. Seriously, it looks way worse than it is. Just be patient and follow the steps.

Pulled out my tools to make sure everything was there.. Come to find out i have the wrong socket... The deep well socket is 3/8 drive..

Wondering would that work or do i need 1/2 drive to get it done??

I did my entire job with a 3/8 set and a couple of 1/4 inch sockets to get off the ECU and coils

Did you use a deep well socket or spark plug socket?

Honestly I tried a old plug socket but the rubber was all wore out and would not pull out the plug so I just used a regular deep well and a extendable magnet to get them out. It worked out better any way because I made my own magnetic socket to reinstall them without dropping them in. I just took a small rare earth magnet off the fridge and super glued it to the end of an extension inside the socket the plug is held on by the magnet and it helps when you want to pregrease the plug head no rubber grabbing the grease upon removal I the socket.

even with a brand new spark plug socket with the rubber insert I had to use my extendable magnet to remove the plugs after they were loose. Of course they were covered in break free so they might have been slippery.

I used a 9/16" deep well and a retractable claw grabber. Worked great.
