Default 5.4L 3V Blackstone UOA

Just recently had a UOA report done on my 2007 F-150. These results are on a 3,000 mile interval of Motorcraft SB 5W-20 during winter time. Truck sees a lot of short trips of about 10 minutes at a time. Just posting in case anyopne is interested in doing an oil analysis.

Looks good! The low flash point could be due to some fuel dilution since you take mainly short trips.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, they mentioned a trace of fuel probably causing the low flash point. At least the metal numbers look good. The truck definitely runs very healthy and quiet.

$28 for the analysis. Then an additional $7 to put it on 3 day priority mail. Otherwise, a lot of times it will take forever to get to the lab when sending in the sample. $35 total.
