vct or cps
Are you unplugging the vct or the csp....? The cam shaft position sensor is in the front of the engine ! JUST ON CASE YOU WAS MISTAKING OT FOR THE VCT ! IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU MAY JUST HAVE A BAD COIL PACK 1 bad coil and it feels and sounds like you need a new engine ...go to a parts store and scan it to see if it's a cylinder misfire !

U need to use some electrical grease on them also .....and if it's a timming issue ...u wanna try the cps on the front of the engine un plugging it makes it run better but still bad !! Then u may have a timming issue ......but I can assure you those coil packs can go bad even new ones ...I had the same problem and I put my old ones back on and it ran fine so I exhaled them under warranty ! HOWEVER iv noticed a big deference since I used electrical grease on them

Not really sure of that ...MAYBE IT'S JUST RETARDING THE TIMMING AND IT SEEMS TO HELP .. a misfire on a single cylinder is a good sign of a bad cop or plug ....! Try that 1st....it's the cheapest ....if it was misfiring on the entire side I'd say a timming issue but a misfire on a particular cylinder !!???? Bad cop or plug ...id guess ...I hope for your sake that's what it is good luck .....
