No problem hope it fixes the problem. I'm having misfires to, but I'm 99% sure its cause there's a crack in my intake manifold and coolant leaks all over the COPs and plugs. Also make sure your spark plug holes are dry and you have dielectric grease on the OUTSIDE of your coil boots

that maybe be true. he didn't state what year it was so i wasn't sure. i know my 2000 5.4 2v has one and has had problems in the past with rough ideal because it was clogged.

When the coils were replaced, where new boots installed with dielectric grease?
And if so, too much grease can cause some issues..
An over tightened spark plug can also cause this... I have had cars with plugs so tight they break the porcelain

Well...this post is in the 2004-2008 part of the forum. I know some folks will post topics in the wrong place sometimes, but if you post in here, I am going to assume you have a 2004-2008 F150....and if you say you have a 5.4L, I am going to assume it is a 3V, VCT engine (no EGR).
