I can buy dual pipes with a flowmaster super 44 muffler for 215
Honestly i dont like the duals so could i just buy the muffler separate and take my stock one out and put the super 44 in?
I dont like the back firing cackling noise i somtimes hear in Youtube videos of the exhaust i believe that is just removed cats am i correct?
Sorry dont know much about exhaust so lets talk about them

Yes. You would be able to purchase a Flowmaster Super 44 and use it to replace your existing muffler. The Super 44 Series mufflers that fit your F-150 are Flowmaster part #842548 for stainless steel or part # 942548 for aluminized steel.
The differences in muffler series are in terms of sound. The Super 10 muffler is the most aggressive muffler that we produce. This muffler is so aggressive that we do not recommend it for street use. The Super 44 is also very aggressive and is our deepest tone, highest-performing street muffler. The Super 40 Series muffler uses our Delta Flow technology and delivers the greatest performance benefits to higher horsepower vehicles. The larger case size of the Super 40 muffler aids in reducing internal resonance while maintaining a deep tone outside of the vehicle.
