My boss had an '05 F250 supercrew 4x4 and he told me he was getting 11 mpg with it. I usually get 13-15 mpg with my '06 F150 Supercab 4x4.

If they are the same model with the same specs they should get around the same mileage.

Of course the '05 4x4 Screw is gonna get less than the '06 4x4 Scab because it's a bigger and heavier model.

However, it all boils down to how you drive the vehicle according to how much/little mileage you get.

Mine will get anywhere between 13-17 mpg depending on how you hit the throttle where as our F-350 Screw Dually gets around 17 mpg.

Talking Not the same at all

The 150 and 250 are not the same anything really. The 250 is much heavier with a much stronger body construction. Different rear diff., different axles, much heavier for pulling much heavier weight. The 250 will get worse mileage than a 150. Average for 250 11-12 mpg for street driving. 150 gets around 14-18 street driving.
It also depends on how you drive the 150 of course, some people get as low as 11 mpg on the 150 like above.

If you were going to get a 250 you should get diesel better mileage and more power.

better pulling power unless you put a chip then there fast and get about 20mpg. My dad has a 2010 Harley Davidson f250 its bad ***. But it only gets like 10mpg and he doesnt have much of a lead foot. Ive heard alot of bad thing about the new motor. But so far no problems knock on wood.

I got that with my old '84 460 (2wd reg. cab).

yeah, from what I've seen, the F250 with the 5.4 is fairly comparable, but not very popular on anything over a reg cab. the powerstrokes past the 2nd gen 7.3L are junk.

To me the 5.4 is really underpowered in an F250. Ive driven my boss's old F250 Supercab (he goes thru alot of trucks) and I thought it was really gutless.

One of my friends has an '09 F250 supercab diesel and he only gets about 12 mpg. For some reason the Powerstrokes are horrible on fuel.

yeah my stepdads 01 250 Scab 8' bed 4x4 was pretty gutless even after i put an exhaust on it. i raced him once with my 150 regcab 8' bed 4x4 and i spanked him hard and mine was bone stock at the time. he just traded it in for a 10 250 scab 5.4 FX4. He hates diesel(smell and noise) if they didnt stink to him and made so much noise he would get one. funny thing when i put the exhaust on his truck he was like eh thats cool(i put it on when i worked for him so we could hear him coming and stop dickin around and be workin before he pulled up lol) now he was man now i got an exhaust put on it again.
