I used automotive paint, urethane. You can just use some type of enamel, and then clear coat over it a few times. You can get any colour possible

I just read through all 61 pages of this thread today. All I can say is WOW. You have done an amazing job and I have a lot of respect for all of the detail and time that you put into this build. You have a DAMN fine looking truck. Keep up the good work man.
