You can have your 5.4 Triton custom built into a 6.2 Triton stroker for less money. I don't know if the 6R80 will bolt up to our motors without custom fabrication. There is a lot to think about regarding this type of project.

5.0 uses the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 4.6/5.4's. I'm fairly sure the 6.2 does as well.

Cheaper? Not so sure...

That's just the block...I'm pretty sure some salvage yard searching might yield a better drivetrain price than this.

Would be easier and maybe cheaper (if you can do it yourself) to turbo your 5.4 and blow away all of the ecoboost, 5.0s, and 6.2s you run accross.

until you run into someone who decides to do the same thing with a 5.0 or 6.2

hahaha thats true............ but of course that will be only a percentage of a small percentage of people.

And thats nothing a few more psi of boost wouldnt fix. Once you go turbo...... your only... and i mean ONLY horsepower limit is your wallet.

Ive seen 1000 wheel horsepower 2.0 liter four cylinders.

Pashal is one of the companies out there that will build a 6.2 Triton stroker out of your 5.4, but there is also another company. I can't remember the name but usually these custom builds can go for mild to wild rather easily. I'm not sold on the STS turbo for our trucks as the Whipple has been proven over and over as one of the best units available.
