Okay got a 04 fx4 screw. Last night we had our first good snow fall 6in roads almost impassable in areas ect. I engaged my 4x4 hi at a dead stop and procedded on I did an average speed of 30 mph no biggie, got to i65 which was in better condition but still sketchy so left it in 4hi doing about 50 max. I felt more secure in 4hi I believe with 100% certainty in 2wd I'd be a ditch victim lol. Okay my question you are only suppose to engage and disengage 4hi at 50mph or less correct? But what is the Max speed you can travel in 4hi down the road nothing stupid but is it okay to run 50-60 mph while in 4hi on questionable roads? My truck performed great and was a snow beast it actually stopped good in the snow too. I'm impressed with a fx4 package on my truck.

I belive 50 mph is the max it should say in the owners manual
