its not your transfer case you hearing .its the Hub acuator trying to engaged . when your foot is on the trottle .you lose vacuum . faulty solenoid .

How did you know that your 4x4 is not working . ? how did you test it ? So we can help you much better.

I put it in 4x4 at work and only rear tire lol will spin

un-plug the vacuum lines from your IWE ...this will vent and lock your IWE and re-test it to see if your in 4WD
