Default 4WD drive light won't light or engage
Just tried to put my 05 F150 in 4WD HI and the light did not come on and it did not engage.

Looking for some direction on where to start the diagnoses.

It could be your IWE Solenoid. Once water gets into it can short them out.

X2... replace your solenoid.. located on the firewall behind the battery
