Need your thoughts
I have narrowed it down to two; however, having a hard time picking which one.
I spent time with both but still having a hard time.
one: 06 xlt 5.4L v8 108,000m $11,000
The body of this truck is in better shape (not by a significant amount)
two: 05 xlt 4.6L v8 118,000m $9,500
a Few cosmetic issue
I will be towing a boat but nothing the 4.6 could not handle

I personally dislike my tan interior yeah it looks awesome with my black exterior when both are freshly cleaned. but man 1 spec if dirt and you see it right away I'm going to change my interior to black or grey soon. But I do love those green f150s. Your 2nd link doesn't work.
Did you hear any ticking with the 5.4? If you did I wouldnt get it. Mine was very light when I bought it with 150k miles and I didn't hear it till I went through a drive through now I hear it everywhere. And while it doesn't appear to effect performance it sure is embracing to have a diesel sound f150.

For me it would boil down to which truck has the LEAST amount of rust given your up in the full blown winter zone. Rust down here is from those that live on the coast not the road salt.

If you're towing, go with whichever has the steeper gears. Depending how big and heavy your boat is, you're going to want at least the 3.55 gears. Both trucks will be good to you if you take care of them and follow the maintenance schedules. Depends on how much you want to pay I guess.
