4WD?

4 lo will redline way way before you hit anything near those speeds. I would advise you to NEVER go 60 mph, 55 mph, 45 mph again in 4hi. Even though the manual says 55 MAX in 4hi, it's a lot of wear on the transfer case and youre just asking for problems. Don't know why you would even want to come close to the max 4x4 speeds anyways...it's meant for added traction so you shouldnt be doing 60 in hazardous conditions anyways.

Ok, so back to your original problem... it sounds like a transfer case motor or hub actuator problem if your dash lights are lighting up. "Electronically" everything is fine, but "mechanically" something is broken. Good luck.

I haven't had the weather to get out and trouble shoot yet but some crappy thought went through my head, hit 4WD and turn the tightest circle possible.... the front end should have hopped, two circles and no hopping. Open front differential or not, this isn't right.
