2007 F-150 Driver Side Wiring Harness/Boot removal?
Howdy y'all!
I'm in the process of trying to determine if I have a broken wire in the hinge region of the wires to my power windows - right where the wiring harness connects to the door frame (truck side). I have diagnosed the specific wire that lacks continuity (it's the white one with a tiny yellow strip - controls down from the driver's side switch). I am struggling to get the wiring harness off - I don't want to break it... It seems awfully tight. Is there some special trick on how to maneuver it to get it out? I tried to attach a picture, but it did not work for some reason. I can email you a picture if needed. Thanks so much, Laura

I've had 2 wires separate on me inside the rubber boot that is in the door hinge. I used a 3" piece of same gauge wire (depending on which wire) and 2 but connectors. It's a tight squeeze but it is possible. Put a but connector on each side of the broken wire and crimp it down then place the 3" or however long of wire you need between the two connectors and crimp it down.
