I have racked up some miles on my F150 and am looking into having it rebuilt to last me a couple more years. Not sure on options I have in terms of what kinds of kits are out there. What I am actually changing out? can I have the performance increased? What can I expect in labor hours, I do feel I have found a good mechanic to do the work.


I am buying my wife a new car, so im stuck with this one for a few more years. I like it, I just want more reliability and slight performance out of it. Engine seems noisy and lacks power while climbing some of the hills I have to drive through going to work. Engine has 160,000 miles.
