4.6 spark plugs
I've got an 07 4.6 with 70,000 miles. The dealer told me that at around 60,000 they do plugs, but its a wear item and costs 700 dollars to have them do. I want to do them myself but that fuel rail sitting right on top of the coil packs has me nervous. Anyone who's done these before want to give me some tips?

There was a video on You Tube that showed the process but they removed it. I watched it and remember that they did not have to remove the fuel rail, I think they just took it lose and got enough room to change the plug. Sure wish they had not removed that video. You might check this site:

They seem to have a lot of info.

2007 F150 4.6 Spark Plug Change
New to the forum but I just changed mine 2 weeks ago. It can totally be done without removing the fuel rails. Just be patient and have a good selection of wrenches. Took me about 2hrs taking my time. But for goodness sakes don't give anyone that much money! Around here they wanted 250$-300$.
As a side note I went with Bosch Platinum Plugs, they were like 4$ each after the Walmart Mail In Rebate.
Oh yah, mine had 53,000 miles but I wanted to change them.
