4.5" lift rear shock & valving? Bilstein5xxx 5165s?
Hey, looking for some input on some shocks for the rear of my truck. I have an 06 4wd with a 8" procomp front (rcd-bilstein 2" Leveling struts added.) the rear lift is in the neighbourhood of 4.5", I removed the factory block, added a 5.5" tuff country and added an add a leaf. I think the factory block was a 2".
I currently have a procomp white body el mexicano set of shocks in the rear and it's skid. Looking to get into a set of billys to match my front. I've been looking at the 5165s but kind of thrown off by the valving. Maybe they're even overkill. Anyone running them? I think I should be in the neighbourhood of a 28" extended length and 17 collapsed or so, I'll have to measure when I have my truck with me but still have the following valve options with these lengths:
170/60..255/70..360/80
If anyone has any personal input with these please let me know your opinion.. Or if you have any of the other bilstein 5000 series shocks with a big lift.
