I do not, nor do I plan on adding them. Nor do I plan to regear my ring and pinon.

Lightbulb Just got the SCT X4 - Not quite sure yet

I just purchased the X4 tuner - I have a 1999 F150 XLT, 4.2 V6 somewhat customized - bought it for $500 about 3 or so years ago and have spent about 10k over the last 3 years upgrading etc. Harley Rims, Leather Lariat Interior - custom headliner, carpet, LED headlights, tail lights, running lights, OFF road bar across top, Exhaust with flow master split to two chrome tips, All new braking system, Side Steps and on and on and on and oh yeah, at 208,000 miles the previous owner neglect finally killed cylinder 6 - so I purchased a brand new engine (long block) from ford. Had it installed a month or so ago and driving up to Ohio from Florida I got about 15 mpg. Has K&N after market intake. Have been looking for a tuner for a long time. Finally today, I went to JEG's located in Columbus and immediately flashed the ECU/PCM and wham - running in traffic and a little bit of highway had my Bosch OBD special function showing gas mileage after changing shift points and a few other things - 24.4 MPG. Had I been on the highway driving around 70-80 mph it was showing a constant 25.5 to 29.8. Totally floored me that the device could make changes to the performance to that level but I had an 88 BMW 635 CSI years ago and at over 300k I put a performance chip, rising rate pressure regulator and one other thing I forget and driving to and from Atlanta hauling *** I actually averaged 30mpg which no on believed until they drove with me and saw what I saw. However, I'm hoping after running updates just now that there will be more on this device as I have larger tires and the only adjustment I have showed the truck doing 80 when it was only doing 55 - the opposite of what it was. Anyway - wondering if anyone else has experience with this with a 4.2 v6 and hoping there are some custom tunes somewhere that I can download and play with or if anyone knows how to create tunes.
