Will take a little more than just 8 inches to clear 38s with no rub. But as far as tires I have toyo open country mts 38.15.50 on 18s. These tires will last longer and quieter than all other mud terrains. you will pay abit more but its well worth it. mickeys and mud grapplers are cheaper but will wear too fast are loud. I like how my toyos are 15.50 wide. def. sets me apart form the usual. Check out fuel wheels.. BMF wheels. MKW wheels. Pro Comp wheels. There are TONS of wheels. just search for them!!!If you really must do rockstars (like everybody) atelast do the new machined ones. (just came out)
