Is there a write to swap out the 24 gallon fuel tank for a 36 gallon one? I read that was possible. I don't know what tank to get though and what else I would need for that swap. I have a super cab fx4 2004 5.4

It is possible, and I know a few people have done it. But its not an easy swap nor is it cheap, unless you are very lucky.

Ford dropped this option on the 2wd models several years ago, can only get with 4wd now. I'm glad mine has the larger tank, comes in handy for towing.
