I have the 35 gallon tank in my screw with the 5.5 bed. Its possible. But it just makes me depressed cause my truck gets such ****ty gas mileage. I get less than 10mpg average. I REALLY need to do my plugs which should help I just need to find the time, money, and courage.

Now that im thinking maybe my tank isnt 35 gallons. Its been so long since ive filled up from empty to full that I cant remember. I am a 2004 Super Crew 4x4 5.5ft bed. I might have the 30 gallon tank.

it is most likely a 30gallon tank which come standard on the Screw unless u ordered it custom with the 35.7 or whatever the bigger one is

I have this tank and I never fill it. I always put 70 litres(half) because the extra weight actually makes you burn more fuel. I get 320 to 330 kms per 70 litres and when it's full I get 520-540. Therefore I believe I save in the end. Who cares if u go to the gas station a little more often

i was thinking the same thing, at one point, filling it up all the way will make it burn more gas and so your savings will be negated. plus you have to pay for the bigger tank

The difference between the two tanks, 5.7 gallons will weigh less than 40 pounds but extend your highway range by about a hundred miles. Your truck will not feel 40 extra pounds.

A plus I will definitely see with a 36 gal. tank is the ability to go to cheaper gas. It's 30-50 cents higher locally than over the hill to Medford, OR, down to Redding, CA. .30 x ~30 = worthwhile savings.
