Default 34's on a 4x2 w/leveling kit

so i just bought the 275/65-20 Good Year Wrangler AT/S (the tires off of the f250's)...i was only able to get one mounted up tonite cuz my buddy n i got lazy, but we mounted it on the driver side front and i loose no turning radius, and i have no rubbing. all that my truck has on it is a 2-1/2 inch leveling kit, and it is a 4x2...so now we know that 34"x11" tires will fit w/just a leveling kit...pics to follow sunday afternoon...

I'm not suprised that those fit. They are narrow and that helps dramactically.

yeah but by just looking at them not mounted, i thought i was going to have to cut a piece of the lower front spoler off...and id read on here several times that you could only get 33's to fit up on the 4x2's with a leveling kit...

Yea but since those tires are 12.5's wide they will fit better and allow you to go slighty larger height wise.

They aren't all that narrow. 275= 275mm wide. Divide that by 25.4 and you get 10.8 inches wide. I have 31x10.5R15's on my 1996 F150 4x4, with no leveling kit, and if they were any wider they would rub. 10.5 inches is plenty wide for most people and what they are likely to need them for.

Now for a 275 tire, that is roughly 34 inches tall with the 20inch rims, 10.8 inches may look a little thin compared to the height.
